Viceroy dual purpose cabbage produces attractive blue-green heads that are uniform and round in shape. Medium size plants that are semi-upright produce 4 to 5 lb. heads at a 12″ spacing, which are ideal for fresh market use, or if you want larger 8 to 9 lb. heads for processing and slaw, space the plants at 14 to 18″. Viceroy cabbage has great internal qualities with a white internal color and short cores. Excellent holding ability with intermediate resistance to Black Rot, resistance to Fusarium Yellows, and tolerance to Thrips and tip burn.
