Biotech sweet corn has been bioengineered to exhibit specific traits that are not found in conventional varieties, including resistance to insect pests and tolerance to specific formulations of herbicide. These traits result in plants with strong inherent protection to insect pests, particularly lepidoptera species, with reduced use of insecticides, as well as greater flexibility in weed management.
Remedy offers similar eating quality to BC0805, but a stronger pest protection package through the Attribute?II suite of traits. Long bicolor ears have excellent tip fill and good husk cover, as well as tender sweet kernels with TripleSweet synergistic eating quality. Note: under certain stress conditions, Remedy may exhibit tassels or glumes growing out of the ear. For orders 100M or greater, a signed Remedy waiver is required at time of purchase.
All orders require completion of the Attribute Sweet Corn Grower Agreement and a Grower License Number on file before shipment will be made.
