Flatso has a unique look with its flat oval shape that resembles an orange version of Long Island Cheese pumpk” Its 6-8 lb. fruit measure approximately 9 to 10″ in diameter by 5 to 6″ in height and have a bright orange color and moderate ribbing. Flatso is produced on a full-size vine and has thin, dark handles that contrast well with the orange fruit. Flatso is a unique item for roadside and farmers’ market sales.
