This German heirloom radish produces 7 to 10″ roots that have a dark rose-pink exterior color and bright white interiors. Ostergrub Rosa resists pithiness, has a relatively smooth appearance, a crisp texture and a flavor that is both sweet and mildly peppery. It grows well from spring through fall and its tops remain vigorous and healthy, even under hot summer conditions.
