Watermelon Orange Crisp F1 Seed A20221831

Orange Crisp is a unique orange fleshed seedless watermelon. We have replaced Orange Sunshine with Orange Crisp because we feel that it is a more consistent performer and has better yield potential. The fruit have a gourmet quality and a deep orange flesh color. Orange Crisp’s medium thick rind has shown good sunburn tolerance, holds up well for long distance shipping, and has a light green background with thin dark green stripes. The vigorous vines yield round to oval shaped fruit that weigh 14-18 lbs. This is an excellent item for cut melon displays at roadside markets, farmers’ markets and supermarkets.

You will need to purchase a pollinator for use with the seedless varieties. We highly recommend that you use Side Kick or Accomplice for this purpose, as they flower early and continuously throughout the pollination period. You will need one pollinator for every three seedless you transplant.
