Naked Bear is a cute little pie pumpkin that is slightly flat in shape, measures 5-6″ wide and produces naked seeds that do not need to be hulled to be eaten. Medium-size vines produce very good yields of 2-4 lb. fruit that have a bright orange color, shallow ribs, and thick, short stems. Naked Bear pumpkins can be used as a boxed pie pumpkin or for the edible seed pack market. Intermediate resistance to powdery mildew.
