White Ebenezer is always crisp and delicious and by far the most popular onion you can grow! It produces a medium-sized, 2 to 3″ diameter bulb with a flat shape and a nice strong onion flavor. It is gold colored on the outside, with papery skin, and pale yellow flesh. Its mild flavor is great for cooking, and it also stores well. Long-day, open pollinated type. Harvest: August-September. Approximately 110-130 sets per pound. Hardiness zone 3-9.
