A yellow, semi-flat, open pollinated, long day onion. It is grown by many for its very sweet flavor and ease to grow. With early maturity and cold hardiness, it makes good sized onions, especially in Northern and Midwestern states. Walla walla is also adaptable to intermediate day areas due to its fast maturity. Best for fresh market sales, as this onion does not store well.
