We were quite taken with this unusual organic basil in our trials, with its nice contrast between dark green leaves and maroon rosettes. The plants are well-branched, so you are able to take a number of cuts per plant that can be used in mixed or single variety bouquets. Cardinal has exhibited a fine vase life in which the aroma of fresh basil lightly permeates the room.
