Chile G76 produces medium-thick fleshed fruit that have delicious mild heat and richly satisfying chili flavor. Its uniform, 8″ long fruit ripen from bright green to red at full maturity, but Anaheims are eaten and sold when green. This type has been a Southwest favorite for making chile rellenos, grilling and roasting. Intermediate resistance to TMV.
