Narragansett winter squash is an excellent variety to use for the fresh peeling or processing markets. The tan fruit have thick, uniform necks and a slight bell-shaped seed cavity. Its rich orange flesh has very good eating qualities. The full-size vines have excellent yield potential and intermediate resistance to powdery mildew and ZYMV.
