This full season variety offers improved TripleSweet sweetness. Bred by the same breeder that developed Providence, Primus produces big yields on its clean 6-1/2′ plants. The long 8 to 8-1/2″ ears are held at 24″ on clean and sturdy plants, have an attractive husk and 14-16 rows of bicolor kernels. Primus sweet corn has intermediate resistance to Northern Corn Leaf Blight, common rust (Rp1D) and Stewart’s bacterial wilt.
